Creation Kit Multiple Masters Fix is a free modder resource that fixes several bugs in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. The creation kit currently has a bug that prevents you from loading multiple master files. This mod, created by StarkChaser, attempts to fix this bug.
The creation kit is a free tool used to create mods that add in resources like updated textures, weapons, NPCs, and even create new worlds. Similar mods that fix bugs in the kit and add items are SSE Creation Kit With DLC, RaceCompatibility, and Tweaked Creation Kit ini.
Run multiple masters
This mod addresses the multiple masters error you may get when using DLC and mods. It does this by changing code so it’s able to load multiple master files. Without it, your loads may be aborted due to this error.
Fixes DLC not loading bug
Users have reported DLC not loading and Skyrim SE freezing up and crashing upon loading. To prevent crashes, you’d have to load just the base game, not your DLC. This mod works to fix that bug, allowing users to load DLCs without errors or reloading.
Installation
This mod can’t be installed via NMM. You can drag the ini file to your SSE directory normally found in file path ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition’. Alternatively, you can create ‘CreationKitCustomer.Ini’ in the directory above and paste in the following code:

Once pasted, save and reopen your modding tool. Either of these methods will fix both multiple masters error and DLC not loading bugs. Fortunately, there are no requirements for the installation other than the base game. However, there are some mods that need this add-on to function correctly.

The Creation Kit is a fantastic, free tool for modders but has its bugs. The Creation Kit Multiple Masters Fix is a must-have add-on for people experiencing any bugs with the kit. This mod can’t be downloaded on NMM, but the process is still reasonably straightforward. The creator of the mod also threw in a bonus fix for the floating grass bug as well.
